Internet personality Mihlali Ndamase once again became the topic of controversy after she shared her weight loss journey, seemingly with assistance from Body Palace Aesthetics, a local med spa. Many felt that the influencer’s physical appearance did not justify getting the alleged treatment.

As seen in an X post shared on 14 July 2026 by @Cebe_Lihle23, Ndamase is seemingly receiving an injection shot in her abdomen, writing, “The weight loss journey continues.”

It is unclear what type of treatment she had received or when she had visited the spa.

South Africans divided over Mihlali Ndamase’s decision

Upon seeing the X, social media users gathered in the comment section to express their thoughts about the star’s weight loss journey, with one individual calling the process “artificial.” Other online users felt that Ndamase had no weight to lose, deeming her body “fit.”

“But she already looks good mos,” insisted @Real_Precious_M.

A confused @FifiRefLucsM asked, “Huh, she wants to be skinny?”

Referring to a Hollywood influencer, @Ms_BarbieKM remarked, “Something very Jayda Cheaves about her… Hmmm.”

@W0keTeen shared their opinion in the comment section, writing, “I’ll say it again, who told women that losing weight makes them more attractive? So many females with nice bodies lose weight; I mean, their body, their choice, but aren’t we all chasing attraction? And losing weight for me is definitely not it.”

@Senthaaaaaded sided with Ndamase, commented, “That girl can’t breathe without you guys being in her business.”
