From ‘Coming Home’ to ‘Happiness Anytime’
The artist hit the ground running with his debut album Coming Home, displaying effortless vocals and a rich, soulful sound, with hits like River, Brown Skin Girl, and Mississippi Kisses — the same album that won him a Grammy.
The other three albums that followed were nothing short of classic. His second studio album, Good Thing, was an expansion on his signature soulful sound, incorporating funk, jazz, R&B and contemporary production while maintaining beautiful R&B vocal performances that had become his trademark.
His third studio album was also a space for musical evolution. Gold-diggers took his R&B sound and jazz and blended them with alternative elements, creating a deeply personal and atmospheric record.
This sound grew well into his fourth studio album. This self-titled record drew on his Texas roots, personal experiences and a broader palette of musical influences.
Now comes Happiness Anytime, set to release this September 2026. Bridges is expected to showcase his musical evolution through the 12-track album.
