Kodisang Loan Move Collapses – iDiski Times

According to Portuguese media, Bafana Bafana international Kobamelo Kodisang’s loan move from Sporting Braga to GD Chaves has fallen through after the two teams failed to come to an agreement.

Last week it had been reported that Kodisang’s move was as good as done, even though nothing was signed.

The 22-year-old midfielder was also linked with South African giants Kaizer Chiefs but player representative Mike Maakab confirmed that Braga and Chiefs could not reach an agreement.

Portuguese journalist Pedro Sepulveda reports that the former South African junior player international already trained with Chaves, but has now left the club again and went back to Braga to continue with the pre-season as the 2022/23 campaign is set to start in a week’s time.

It remains uncertain, however, if Kodisang will be part of Braga’s plans for this season, or if another option will be found for him. Before his proposed move to Chaves he has started to train with Braga B.

In the latest bumper edition of iDiski Times, you can hear from Thulani ‘Tyson’ Hlatshwayo following his exit from Orlando Pirates, where he talks about being ignored at times, where things turned sour and what it was like to represent his boyhood club. There is also an interview with Teko Modise who speaks about his new agency, former Bucs coach Fadlu Davids who says that co-coaching doesn’t work and a whole lot more.
