Kaizer Chiefs target Kobamelo Kodisang has reportedly started training with Braga B again ahead of the 2022/23 season.
Kodisang, 22, has been confirmed as one of Chiefs’ off-season targets with his agent Mike Makaab stating clearly that he could return to the DStv Premiership should he not be part of the first-team plans.
With Kodisang’s two-year contract option activated, Makaab of ProSport International stated they would engage with Braga management to seek either a loan to a top-flight club or a permanent deal, if their intentions were to keep him in the reserve team or loan him out to a second-tier club.

Amid the reported talks between the club, player and agent, and with Chiefs’ interest during the short off-season break, Portuguese news outlet ABOLA, confirmed Kodisang was among 26 players training with the Braga B team under the watchful eye of former Portugal midfielder Custódio Castro.
It remains to be seen what the outcome of the discussions is for the South Africa youth international who’s considered one of the country’s brightest talents.
