The Premier Soccer League have confirmed that chairman Dr. Irvin Khoza will make a major announcement on Tuesday.
With clubs slowly returning for pre-season, the PSL will also host a press conference on Tuesday for a special announcement.
“The Premier Soccer League Chairman Dr. Irvin Khoza will host a press conference on Tuesday, 05 July 2022 for a Major Announcement,” the league confirmed.

The announcement could be linked to the prize money of the Motsepe Foundation Championship after the Motsepe Foundation have taken over the sponsorship of the National First Division, replacing GladAfrica who had been the sponsor for the past three seasons.
Khoza could also give an update on the DStv Premiership prize money or officially confirm the fixtures for the upcoming 2022/23 season.
Whatever the reason, many in South African football will eagerly await the presser as it also somewhat earmarks the return of activity in local football.
