After helping Swallows survive relegation from the DStv Premiership last season, Head Coach Dylan Kerr has given an update on his current situation.
Kerr was in charge as Swallows survived the promotional playoffs, as the Soweto retained their status, beating out promotion-hopefuls Tuks and Cape Town All Stars.
But the former Baroka, Black Leopards and Marumo Gallants coach saw his contract expire at the end of June, when he was back home in the United Kingdom to deal with personal issues.
However, after returning to South Africa, and starting preseason with the club, it can now be confirmed that Kerr has renewed with the club and will lead the team in the 2022/2023 season.
Swallows will start their campaign with a tough fixture against Orlando Pirates. The Original Soweto derby will be played at Orlando Stadium on the 6th of August at 3pm.
In the latest bumper edition of iDiski Times, you can hear from Thulani ‘Tyson’ Hlatshwayo following his exit from Orlando Pirates, where he talks about being ignored at times, where things turned sour and what it was like to represent his boyhood club.
