Kanye West racial slurs against Trevor Noah result in his Grammy Awards performance cancelled

It all started when Trevor Noah expressed concerns over Kanye West’s toxic online comments against his estranged wife, Kim Kardashian. Now it has cost the rapper a Grammy Awards performance.

Kanye has been at it since he found out about Kim and Pete. Since the beginning of the year, consistent and derogatory comments have been made through social media and some of his music.

Trevor Noah started addressing Kanye’s behaviour on The Daily Show, calling his behaviour terrifying. He recalled some of the experiences that his mother went through in the hands of abusive partners. Trevor felt that Kanye’s harassment deserves to have a conversation addressing gender-based violence.

The American rapper then responded by attacking the Daily Show host with racial slurs, which got him suspended from Instagram for 24 hrs.

It has now been revealed that Kanye’s performance at the 64th annual Grammy Awards has also been cancelled due to his inappropriate behaviour, including his attack on Trevor.

The Donda singer’s ban from the Grammys has been confirmed as Trevor Noah will be the host of the prestigious music award show this year.

Several publications noted that West’s removal from performing is partially due to concerns of possible altercations between him and Trevor Noah on the night of the show.

Trevor Noah has responded to this decision, saying he did not mean that Kanye must be cancelled, jokingly saying he suggested he should be Counseled.

Noah’s publicist has defended the comedian against accusations that he had requested for Kanye to be barred from performing at The Grammys, calling those claims ridiculous.
The publicist mentioned that Trevor did not take offence at the racial slurs Kanye threw at him. He hadn’t even communicated with the Academy about the incident.

Trevor Noah has tried to reach out to Kanye on several occasions since the altercation between the two.

In one of his responses, Trevor expressed his admiration and concern, saying a few artists have impacted him as Ye had.

Noah also spoke about how racists have tricked black people into stripping one another of their blackness every time they disagree.

In new developments, Kim Kardashian has responded to Kanye’s behaviour against Noah, calling the decision to suspend him from the Instagram fair. She believes Ye owes Trevor an apology.

Kim’s utterances provoked a response from Kanye West’s friend and fellow musician, The Game.

The Game, whose real name is Jayceon Terrel Tailor, made a lengthy Instagram post, showing his disapproval of the decision to remove him from performing and suspending his Instagram account. The Game claims that the powers that be are constantly trying to steal black people’s culture, saying that once people start speaking their minds and pushing hard enough, they face being wholly ended.

This situation is causing a lot of division in the entertainment industry as some feel that the Grammys should have removed Trevor instead of Kanye.

Bonang Matheba also reacted to Kanye’s attack on Noah and said it made her Mad
as Hell.

Trevor is expected to host the Grammys on the 4th of April 2022.
