Kaizer chiefs goalkeeper has reportedly rejected a new offer from the club

Kaizer chiefs and Bafana Bafana goalkeeper has reportedly turned down a new contract that he was offered by his club Kaizer chiefs.

According to reports, Itumeleng Khune who has been at Amakhosi for more than 20 years has turned down a new offer as he is seeking for a new challenge.

Few months ago, there were rumours that the South African goalkeeper will move to an unknown club abroad as his contract with the Glamour Boys is coming to an end.

Since the arrival of Gavin Hunt, Itumeleng Khune has seen his minutes in the field limited as he is facing a tough competition from his teammate Daniel Akpeyi.

The 33-year old joined the Phefeni side in 1999, however, he was still in the development team. He was promoted to the senior club in 2004.
