JABULILE NTIMBA MURDER: BAIL POSTPONED AFTER TORTURE CLAIM
Tsakane Nester Msithini (38) and Fortunate Masilela (31) appeared in the Boksburg Magistrate’s Court today, Thursday, 1 October 2026, charged with the premeditated murder of Jabulile Ntimba and defeating the ends of justice.
The bail hearing was postponed to 12 October. Through her lawyer, Masilela alleged that police tortured her and forced her to confess. The claim has not been tested in court.
Ntimba, who was about 30, was found wrapped in a sheet in Villa Liza, near Dawn Park, on 17 September. She was the ninth woman found dead in Ekurhuleni since July. A third suspect was not charged due to a lack of evidence.
Police and the NPA allege that the killing was linked to a love triangle, claiming that Ntimba was involved with Masilela’s husband, who is also Msithini’s brother, and that the relationship led to the killing.
