Its not an engagement ring: Tshepi Vundla speaks on claims she’s marrying baby daddy, JR

South African influencer, Tshepi Vundla has finally reacted to claims that she is marrying JR.

It all started when entertainment commentator, Musa Khawula reported that the star is getting married to Idols SA judge and long-term boyfriend after she shared a rock on her ring finger.

However, in a recent interview with Sowetan on Thursday, 18 August that she wasn’t in a hurry to marry her Idols SA judge boyfriend JR Bogopa.

“The ring that I’m wearing is just a simple one… it’s even a Pandora ring, I don’t know why people would confuse it with an engagement ring, it’s not even sparkly enough. I’m glad people assume it’s expensive but unfortunately, it isn’t,” she said.

The two have been together for six years and they have two children together which they welcomed the second one in 2021.

“I’ve been with JR for six years, I know it feels like a long time but our relationship is quite young. I’ve never been a girl who set a timestamp on when I should be married nor do I fantasize about walking down the aisle. If it happens, that’s good and if it doesn’t it’s still fine. What matters is that I know where I stand with my partner.”
