Politicians are important members of society, and as such, they should be treated with decency and respect. They must also conduct themselves in a manner that will garner the respect of others if they are to be respected. This can be seen in the way they dress, how they interact with others, or in their actions.

Many people were offended by this photograph because they believed it was inappropriate for a minister to dress in this manner, particularly if she was a woman.

She will not be respected by the rest of society.
