Is he sick? Recent pictures of Mampintsha left Mansi questioning his health.

Big Nuz stole the show across Southern Africa as arguably the best Kwaito group in the region. During those days, Mampintsha was dubbed Big Shimora; many fans thought he was Big Nuz. His body during those times made fans attach him to anything different. He became popular with his dances without shirts dancing with his big tummy. His popularity grew so big that he became the face of Kwaito and Big Nuz at the time.

As Kwaito fell the playing lists of fans, Mampintsha reformed himself into Gqom, leaving Big Nuz struggling to date. He went on to get married to then-upcoming star Babes Wodumo and got their firstborn in a scandalous marriage. On several occasions, Mampintsha shared the healthy food he east, but that has failed to satisfy what fans saw. He looks like King Monada.

Recent pictures of Mampintsha have left Mansi with questions,

The thirty-nine-year-old musician shared his photos on Instagram, and fans quickly noticed his lost weight. Many fans said he was now slender before a concerned fan questioned Mampinstha’s health. Once the issue of his health became a topic, it opened a side many did not see. Indeed Mampinstha has lost too much weight that people usually do. If it is working out and eating healthy, he should write a book and make money.

It is not the first time that Mampintsha’s health has become a social media topic. In 2019 it was the same issue when he appeared in a video looking so skinny. He came out to defend himself, saying he is healthy and only managing his weight. Fans could not argue more than to accept until his recent pictures reminded him of the Mampinstha of the old.

Mampintsha is one of the pioneers of Gqom music.

Mampintsha with the Big Nuz raised South Africa’s flag with Kwaito music. The genre was viral across Southern Africa and was also played all over the world. Upon the decline of Big Nuz, Mampintsha invented a faster version of Kwaito called Gqom. Top artists like Busiswa, DJ Tira, Destruction boys and Profesor have been the top performers in the genre.

Gqom is on the low, now that Amapiano is the hit sound hitting the clubs. Despite Amapiano’s dominance in Mzansi, Mampintsha is still sticking with Gqom making some fine tunes.
