ICY and COLD morning for most of South Africa

It is a COLD and ICY winter morning in most parts of South Africa on Saturday morning.

According to Vox Weather forecaster Annette Botha the icy conditions will continue for the next few days.

“Icy cold air mass is moving across South Africa and will be with us for at least a week with another stronger cold front nearing South Afri a. And this inflow of icy cold polar air will spread across the country this weekend.”

MORE COLD WEATHER IS EXPECTED WITH A STRONGER COLD FRONT MOVING IN

She said temperatures will drop below freezing in parts of the karoo on Saturday morning. – 5 in Sutherland.

More frosting conditions are expected on Sunday morning in parts of the Eastern Cape, Gauteng, and Free State, with temperatures of only 3 degrees expected in Johannesburg.
