Sometime in March this year, Zodwa deleted all her posts on Instagram which led to speculation that the raunchy dancer was preparing for her rebirth as a sangoma.

The deletion of the posts came barely 24 hours after the star cryptically told her 2.1 million followers that many of them were going to miss her.

Early this month, Zodwa was under fire for allegedly missing a performance at a gig she had been paid for.

The allegations were shared by entertainment and celebrity blogger Musa Khawula on Twitter. Zodwa was reportedly paid R9,000 by the event organisers to throw a performance at Zodwana Pub And Grill.

The performance was scheduled to take place at Zodwana, located outside Hammanskraal, on the 16th of April 2022. Musa Khawula attached the bank statement showing the transaction made to Zodwa WaBantu’s bank account.
