Celebrated Kwaito star Mandla Maphumulo best known as Mampintsha, is topping the trends again for the wrong reasons. His lavish traditional wedding with Babes Wodumo has undoubtedly brought him more tabloid headlines than his hits.

Mampintsha is at loggerheads with his family again, and confirmed reports have it that he is not in good books with his mother and sister. Confirmed reports have it that Mampintsha had a fallout with his mother and sister over Uthando Loduma payouts.

Zama Gumede and her daughter Pinkie have it that the DStv streaming platform Showmax paid them peanuts after cashing in from their participation in the controversial reality show that takes a sneak into Mampintsha’s love life.

Their season one payouts were R10 000 and R5 000, respectively. In the mix of things, they have implicated Mampintsha in the equation. Reports show they are yet to be paid for appearing in Uthando Lodumo Season 2.

The mother and duo said they expected more but felt scammed with Mampintsha and Showmax. They put the duo on full blast in the mix of things and are not holding back.

Zama accused her son of disowning them, yet he does not even support the family financially. She said:

“He called and accused me of bad-mouthing him to Showmax and the producers. He’s angry that I exposed him. He said he wants nothing to do with us because we’re jealous of his success.

I don’t care because he doesn’t buy me anything.  “I survive through piece jobs. I’m therefore asking Showmax to delete all the episodes that show my face.”

However, this is not the first time the two have exchanged jabs publicly. Not long ago, Mampintshas mother lashed out at him for snubbing her at his wedding. To make matters worse, she went on to disown and attack Babes Wodumo, who threatened to clip her wings with some lawsuits because of defamation of character.
