In an emotional message shared with supporters, Ntsiki admitted that continuing to fund the podcast has become increasingly difficult.

‘I may have to close Moya podcast’

Opening up about the situation, Ntsiki said:

“The reality is that I may have to close Moya podcast. I can’t afford to keep the content going for you anymore.”

The candid admission has left listeners and supporters facing the possibility that the podcast could come to an end.

Rather than simply being a creative decision, the potential closure appears to be driven by the financial realities of producing content and maintaining the platform.

The reality is that I may have to close MOYA PODCAST.

I can’t afford to keep the content going for you anymore 🙏🏿

The cost of creating content

Running a podcast involves more than recording and publishing episodes, with production, equipment, editing, distribution and other costs all contributing to the overall expense.

For independent creators, keeping content consistent can become particularly challenging when there is limited financial backing or revenue to cover those costs.

Ntsiki’s message highlights some of the pressures faced by independent content platforms, where maintaining a show often depends heavily on the resources of the person behind it.

An uncertain future

For now, the future of the Moya podcast remains uncertain.

Ntsiki’s message did not necessarily confirm that the podcast has officially closed, but instead revealed that closure is being considered because of the financial strain involved in keeping the content going.

Fans and supporters will likely be watching closely for any further updates about the podcast and whether there will be a way for the platform to continue.

For Ntsiki, the message serves as a candid reminder of the realities behind producing content consistently — and the financial challenges that come with trying to keep a platform alive.
