Prince Kaybee gives green light to upcoming producers to remix his classic hits

South African music producer and DJ Prince Kaybee has given fellow producers the go-ahead to remix his classic songs without seeking permission.

This comes after he shared a screenshot of a message he received from a fan who greeted him with, “Sawbona bhut Kabelo,” before asking, “Manginga drop*a i remix Charlotte uzongshaya?”

Reacting to the message, Prince Kaybee posted the screenshot on social media with a lighthearted caption, encouraging creativity among upcoming producers.

“Lol shame man, I just wanna say to all producers that I DO NOT MIND if you remix any of the hits we did back in the day. If it helps you get where you need to be, GET IN THERE and be as creative as you possibly can. Goodluck,” he wrote.

Fans applauded the Charlotte hitmaker for his humility and willingness to support emerging talent in the music industry, calling his gesture a rare show of generosity from an established artist.
