Gomora actress ‘Thati’ Katlego Danke wins big at the Royal Soapie Awards

As of late, the Thati character has been widowed twice by the Ndaba brothers. She married Mbongeni Ndaba, a wealthy banker who would do anything to make his wife, Thati, happy. Thati and Mbongeni played a happy family, although the Ndaba family was against their marriage. According to the Ndaba family, Thati was a gold digger who married Mbongeni to suck his pockets dry and manipulated him to abandon his family. Unfortunately, Mbongeni died when a botched hijacking claimed his life. After his death, Thati started living in Gomora with her mother MaSonto and joined her mother’s car hijacking business so she could put food on the table.

As Thati adapted to a new life in Gomora, Mbongeni’s brother Phumlani moved to Gomora and used his money to attract Thati. Thati has a thing for rich men, so it was an easy task for Phumlani to ask her out. Fast forward, Phumlani proved his undying love for Thati when he married her in a classy wedding ceremony that turned into a fashion show. After their wedding, Phumlani later realised that Thati was with him for money; she was never in love with him, resulting in his death. He wanted to kill Thati, but unfortunately, he died instead.
