Pholoso has made his debut on the show, portraying the character of Kagiso Moremi. TVSA reported that Kagiso is used to living a traditional life with a 9-5 job in the finance sector. He didn’t love it. He didn’t hate it either. It was just a job.
“He had a fiancée too. And he loved her. But it wasn’t a passionate, all-consuming love. It was all just…nice and neat. Until she left him. Lost, and questioning everything, Kagiso quit his job and went travelling around world. Mostly Africa. He spent a lot of time on spiritual retreats discovering what made him happy.
“These days Kagiso has a more laid-back, free-spirited approach to living. He’s all about living in the moment,” read TVSA.
When asked about joining the soapie? he said: “I have always known that one day I will be part of the Generations family from 2003, and strongly believed in the verse that says, when the time is right, I the Lord will make it happen. He is never late, He is always on time and now He is showing off.”

Makgomo will play the character of Nomasebe Nobe, who was abandoned as a child and raised by a hospital cleaner. Nomasebe will be the first IsiNdebele character to be on the show.
“She’s highly driven, stuck in her beliefs, simple yet complicated. Fiery. Captured but unaware. There’s a tough shell on the outside but inside lives a little girl who is looking for who she truly is. She’s a fighter who fights for the environment, stands up for female issues and struggles, but somehow fails to fight for herself in the right manner.”
Ayanda Daweti will portray the character of Mzimkhulu Ntlokwana, who is highly conservative but wrapped in Africanism.
He’s a laid-back kind of guy but full of anger. When pushed, he is lethal. Mzimkhulu is a one woman man who’s controlling and stubborn, all in the name of love. He’s very jealous and has a sharp eye to spot talent. He can also be obsessive.
