Marumo Gallants coach Raymond Mdaka has responded to time-wasting allegations in his side’s 1-1 draw with Kaizer Chiefs.
The hosts collected their sixth draw of the campaign, but saw their lead slip away after Ismael Olivier Toure was sent off.
One of the ball boys was also sent off by referee Thokozani Mkhize and coach Mdaka basically admitted that his team had to look at extra-ordinary measures to stop Chiefs from building momentum.
“I wouldn’t say but when you feel the fire, you need something to cool off that fire otherwise you’ll burn your fingers,” Mdaka told SuperSport TV when asked about time-wasting.

“So you need to get a way of… like Chiefs was coming and then you have to at least reduce their pace with these small little things, so that you can be fine.
“If you go all out when they are on top of you, chances are you may lose it.”
Mdaka is currently standing for Romain Folz after the Frenchman refused to work as assistant in their 1-1 with Swallows FC last week.
The club are yet to make further announcements on their technical team changes.
