Galaxy & Richmond Enter Top 4, While Downs & UWC Stay Atop

Week 10 of the Hollywoodbets Super League saw newcomers TS Galaxy Queens and Richmond United make moves into the top-four following their wins against University of Johannesburg (UJ) and First Touch Academy respectively.

Busisiwe Ndimeni and Nomvula Kgoale were on target for the Queens as they won 2-1 over UJ to claim fourth place while, United defeated their Limpopo opponents 3-0 to get to third place equal on 21 points with Galaxy, though the de Aar-based outfit has a game in hand.

UJ dropped to fifth place on the log with 18 points while the Academy are rock bottom with five points both from ten outings.

The top two remained unchanged as Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies won 3-2 over JVW FC in a high-scoring match in Soweto to stay at the summit with 25 points from 10 matches. The Blue Diamonds remained in seventh position with 17 points from nine matches.

University of Western Cape (UWC) returned to winning ways with a 3-0 victory over University of Pretoria. UWC are behind Sundowns with 24 points in nine games, but could overtake the leaders with a game in hand, while Tuks are ninth with 13 points from ten matches.
