Former Bafana Bafana midfielder Quinton Fortune will have to start putting his CV out, after Reading replaced their technical team last week.

Fortune had spent the past two years at the English Championship club where he had assisted manager Veljko Paunovic, but last week the club replaced Paunovic with Paul Ince.

Ince will be assisted by Alex Rae, academy director Michael Gilkes and U18s boss Mikele Leigertwood.

Reading are currently in the relegation battle in the Championship, in 21st spot, seven points behind 20th placed Cardiff.

“We would also like to take this opportunity to wish Marko Mitrovic, Nuno Gomes and Quinton Fortune all the best for the future and thank them for their hard work following their departure from the club,” Reading said in their statement.

Before he moved to Reading, Fortune was working as assistant coach for Manchester United’s U23 side.
