Many know and love her for her character as Mandisa in The Wife and love her for her character, which is almost comic. She plays baby mama to Nqoba Zulu, who is hell-bent on not marrying her but appreciates their life together. This sometimes gets her angry, but she always finds ways to use that to her advantage. Mandisa got her parents to overcharge the Zulus when they came to pay for the son she bore for them.

This even led to Zandile plotting against the rest of the family to set them up to be killed by the Majolas.

Despite not winning the viewers’ choice awards for her role, Zikhona Sodlaka is dupped as one of the best actresses in the industry. Not only can she bring to life the most difficult of characters, but she can also play someone older than she is with no effort. Zikhona Sodlaka took to Instagram to celebrate reaching 37 years of age. While her fans and other celebrities wish her a happy birthday, eyebrows have raised in shock at it. The international community knows the actress for her role as a counsellor in Blood and Water. In the series, she played the mother of a high school student who made her age range from the forties. Her body which is more on the plus-size, makes it easy for her to land roles of someone older than she is. Her face, however, still screams youthfulness and shows she is young.

Sodlaka made headlines these past weeks when news broke that she is not in the third season of The Wife. The actress will be greatly missed, and fans hope to see her again when Nqoba’s love story is told. Sodlaka’s party is pink and white-themed and super playful as her nature.
