Ex-Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Junior Khanye has said he is preparing to release a music album.

Khanye, who also works as a football expert, is now adding music to his many projects.

“It’s going to depend on this man who is producing the song for this musician I’m going to sing with,” an ecstatic Khanye tells KickOff.com.

“I will complete things once I’m done talking to this musician, but he informed me that the [song] is in the process. But I’m ready for anything bra.

“One day I would love to highlight these men from Trompies bra. I adore Kwaito too much. Those guys are good. I started as a Majaivane [dancer] before football. So why not?

“I wish, my brother, to do a number with Trompies, I’m a lover of Kwaito…

I adored the way the late Brown Dash used to flow. I use to enjoy Magesh’s songs and Bonginkosi [Zola]. Those are people I would love to get into studio with, if it was possible.

“At the moment, nothing has been put down but there are people who are artists I had a talk with, one of them is a music giant, it’s a pity I can’t divulge their names.

“He is also an actor, but he also has a nice singing voice. Therefore, I can deduce that this object is following me. I am extremely, very excited because of that.”

Fak’Imali Uzobona, a 36-year-old entrepreneur, musician, and coach of an amateur soccer team, says it doesn’t mean he is abandoning the beautiful game to venture into music.

“Sorry, but I also work as an ambassador for iDiski TV. Football is absolutely where my focus lies as an analyst.

“On top of that, I have a radio show on Diski TV as well. I’m also a regular columnist. My novel is going to be published. The publisher is preparing to launch the book, so we can expect it to be released soon after. Afterwards, the publisher will reveal where the book will be launched. And since the Junior Khanye Foundation is present, we can also expect the publication to happen soon.

“My brother, a lot of people have lost their jobs. If we can hire three people so that they can afford to buy bread, this will be a tremendous accomplishment.”
