Mamelodi Sundown’s midfielder George Maluleka says that he doesn’t regret leaving Kaizer’s leaders to join the Brazilians.
Maluleka has had difficulties with game time since joining Sundowns from Amakhosi after only 11 DStv premiership appearances this season.
Maluleka competes for the midfield position in Chloorkop with like Hlompho Kekana, Andile Jali, Rivaldo Coetzee and Lebohang Maboe.
Despite the limited space in the past campaign at Sundowns, the 32-year-old has hope for a great future in the club.
“It’s been good (first season), but obviously a lot of people would think it’s very bad when they played in and out of week,” Maluleka says on Kickoff.com.
“But I came and found players playing and playing the many games I have played, I feel I’ve done well in the first season and can build from here for the next season.
“This is my first season and you watch players around the world wherever it happens to all, including the Real Madrid hazard.”
“It takes time for these things. I’m still adjusting but of course we don’t have much time, but I don’t regret anything to be frank and I feel I’m well done (for next season),” he added. I’m still making adjustments.
