Fikile Mbalula MOCKS the EFF ‘Shutdown biggest flop’

Fikile Mbalula, the former transport minister, has not shied away from voicing his opinions on his preferred social media platform, Twitter. Although the national shutdown has been underway since the early morning, Mbalula has taken it upon himself to gloat about the lack of progress that has been made, which he labelled as a “shutdown flop”. His comment has caused outrage among many Twitter users who have expressed their disapproval of his attitude.

Fikile Mbalula, SecretaryGeneral of the African National Congress (ANC), has gained a reputation for stirring up trouble on social media. On multiple occasions, the former minister has made remarks that have angered South African citizens, who feel that he should be more mindful of his online conduct.

Despite this, Mbalula continues to ruffle feathers with his tweets.

Today, the former transport minister headed online to laugh about the EFF’s national shutdown, which has yet to make an impact so far.

“Shut down biggest flop,” wrote Mbalula in a tweet.

Mbalula’s tweet did not sit well with social media users who called him out in the comments section.

Local celebrities like Bonang Matheba and Sol Phenduka have called the minister out.
