Nzuzo Njilo, who is reality TV star Faith Nketsi’s husband, has been granted bail — Eye Witness News (EWN) reports.
The controversial businessman is the son of the former mayor of Msunduzi Municipality, Themba Njilo.

NZUZO NJILO AND KWANDA NTSHANGASE OUT ON BAIL
The suspected fraudster — who owns a trucking company — appeared alongside his co-accused, Kwanda Ntshangase, at the Port Shepstone Magistrate’s Court on Friday, 28 April.
The pair were arrested in connection with allegations that they fraudulently posed as salesmen who were selling a truck, and illegally took money from an unsuspecting buyer in May 2021. The court heard that the money was transferred into Njilo’s account.

After convincing the court that he needed bail because he has a wife and a 1-year-old to take care of, Njilo was granted R30 000 — while Ntshangase received R3 000 bail.
The matter was postponed to 28 June for further investigation.

PENDING FRAUD CASE
During the court proceedings, it was revealed that Njilo has a pending fraud case in Johannesburg. The matter is currently before the Randburg Magistrate’s Court.
According to City Press, Lund Industries owners, Blaine Evans and James Stephens, opened a case of fraud against the businessman for an outstanding debt of approximately R1 million. The pair allegedly paid him for copper concentrate, which he never delivered in August last year.

Ofentse Nkgwang, who is Njilo’s lawyer, he is set to appear in Randburg, Johannesburg, on 19 May.
