An Ex-Kaizer Chiefs star has been dismissed by Motsepe Foundation Championship side Black Leopards allegedly for disciplinary issues.
Leopards have suddenly found their feet and are fighting until the end to save their PSL status.
But FARPost has gathered that the club has terminated the contract of one of the recent signings after some off-field misconduct.
EX-KAIZER CHIEFS STAR DISMISSED
The player is none other than midfielder Siphelele Ntshangase, whom many believed has got a second chance to revive his ailing career.
The 29-year-old was re-signed by Lidoda Duvha in January after spending the entire 2022 without playing any competitive football. He had managed to feature in seven matches for the club, scoring just one goal.
His last match was against promotion chasers Casric Stars on 18 March.
LEOPARDS FOCUSED ON SAVING MOTSEPE FOUNDATION STATUS
The club is believed to have run out of patience with Ntshangase’s behaviour and didn’t want to run the risk of destabilising their camp as the relegation fight continues.
This publication has it on good authority that it has been over three weeks now that Ntshangase has stopped training with the club.
His departure at Leopards is also similar to how he left at Kaizer Chiefs after four difficult seasons at the Soweto giants.
Speaking to FARPost just after he was given a lifeline at Leopards earlier this year, Ntshangase admitted that the move was a second chance for his career.
“I do believe [this is my second chance]. Because these are the people who believed in me from day one,” he told this publication.
“It was [frustrating not having a team] because playing football is something that I love. But the way God does his things you will never question his will. So I am happy to be back here.
“I still have a lot to offer. As you know my career had its ups and downs. But I still believe I am capable of delivering on the pitch,” he said at the time.
This publication reached out to both the club and the player to solicit a comment but our efforts were unsuccessful.
