Eskom says it will be taking action against staff who embarked on a strike.
The utility is considered an essential service, and its staff are not allowed to embark on a protest.
The parastatal has added that any evidence of criminal activity by staff members will be taken to the NPA for prosecution.
“Where there are criminal acts these will be reported to the police to investigate and evidence is found hand over the cases to the NPA for prosecution,” CEO Andre de Ruyter said.
Eskom engaged unions in wage negotiations on Friday.
