Eskom to implement Stage 4 load shedding on Sunday afternoon

Stage 4 blackouts will be implemented on Sunday afternoon.

This comes after varying stages of blackouts implemented during the week.

As this unfolds, Parliament is calling on Deputy president David Mabuza to update the nation on interventions to deal with the power crisis.

In a letter to Mabuza, the speaker of Parliament raised concern that blackouts imposed untold hardships on citizens, and hamstrung businesses and production.

Earlier on Saturday afternoon, Eskom announced that power cuts will be increased to Stage 3 on Sunday.
