Eskom has confirmed that load shedding will continue this weekend, putting those wishing to watch Saturday’s King Charles III coronation as well as the Nedbank Cup Soweto derby at risk.

The coronation will start around 11:20 (SA time) with the Nedbank Cup semi-final between Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates set for a 15:00 kick-off.
As reported by The South African website, the clash at the FNB Stadium is SOLD OUT meaning unless you have a ticket to the stadium, you may need to make alternative plans to watch.
Due to lower weekend demand and the return to service of some generating units, load shedding will range between Stage 3 and Stage 4 over the weekend.
