Stellenbosch FC have strengthened their goalkeeping department with the signing of Baroka FC goalkeeper Oscarine Masuluke, iDiski Times can confirm.
The Cape Winelands side started the preparations of next season already after a long 2022/23 campaign, which saw them reach the Nedbank Cup semi-final where they lost to Sekhukhune United.
Steve Barker recently confirmed that Leletu Skelem is training with club and they are looking on giving him an opportunity.
Stellies also confirmed the signing of former Ubuntu Football Club goalkeeper Dejean Ah Shane already.
The Cape Winelands club has the likes of Sage Stephens (32), Lee Langeveldt (36) and Reid Bombay (26) in the goal keeping department but the latter has only made one appearance this season.
News reaching iDiski Times is that Stellenbosch completed the signing of the 2017 Puskas award nominee Masuluke from Baroka on a three-year-deal.
The 30-year-old will have to push Stephens who’s has been Stellies number one shotstopper in the current campaign.
Meanwhile, it is unclear whether veteran goalkeeper Langeveldt will stay for another season or not.
