DJ DBN Gogo shines on Forbes Africa’s Over 30 Under 50 list

DBN Gogo has reached a major career milestone after being named one of the 2026 cover stars for Forbes Africa’s Over 30 Under 50 list.

The amapiano star proudly shared the magazine cover on social media, where she appears alongside Celetse Ntuli and two other influential women.

In her caption, DBN Gogo reflected on her journey from being behind the decks to building a multifaceted business empire.

“What started behind the decks grew into a business. A label. A team. A vision bigger than me,” she wrote.

The DJ expressed gratitude for the recognition, revealing that the feature highlights not only her success in music but also her growth as an entrepreneur.

“Honoured to be selected as one of the 2026 cover stars for the Over 30 Under 50 list by @forbesafrica @forbeswomanafrica. I’m truly excited to share more about what I’ve been building, not just as a DJ, but as a businesswoman. This journey has been about risk, resilience and ownership.”

Emphasising her dual passion, she added: “The music is the passion. The business is the legacy.”

DBN Gogo concluded her announcement with excitement, urging supporters to grab a copy of the magazine, proudly declaring: “MAMA IS ON THE COVER YA’LL.”

The feature marks another significant achievement for the award-winning DJ, cementing her place as both a powerhouse in the music industry and a formidable businesswoman.
