JOHANNESBURG WATER CAUTIONS ABOUT LOW PRESSURE
Meanwhile, Johannesburg Water has indicated that its technical teams have completed repairs and water has been opened in the Craigavon area.
However, the entity specified that some customers will receive water while others will still experience low water pressure, especially in high-lying areas.
This follows an outage that persisted for more than 48 hours after the planned maintenance.
According to Joburg Water, the planned maintenance which took place on Tuesday, 15 August 2023 had a technical glitch and affected Witkoppen, Craigavon, and parts of Kengies, north of Johannesburg.
Water had to be isolated in Craigavon to allow the Johannesburg Water technical teams to conduct investigations into the reason for the area outage.
