Chris Rock reportedly dating Lake Bell

He’s been hit — but this time, with Cupid’s arrow. Chris Rock’s year may have gotten off to a bumpy start, but now the comedian, 57, is dating Lake Bell, a source told Entertainment Tonight Tuesday.

Rock and the “Bless This Mess” star, 43, are casual at the moment, but have been seeing one another for a couple of months, the insider told the outlet. It’s a good sign when he’s making time for someone while on tour,” said the source. “He’s hyper focused on his tour and upcoming comedy special, so I know he really likes her since he’s making seeing her a priority!

The New Yorkers, both of whom have two children from their first marriages, were seen enjoying Fourth of July weekend together, according to ET.

Rock earlier this year made global headlines after a joke he made about Jada Pinkett Smith resembling G.I. Jane, while he was presenting at the Oscars. His off-color joke about Pinkett Smith’s almost bald head led to her husband, Will Smith slapping the comic. Pinkett Smith, 50, suffers from alopecia and Smith, 53, said he was defending her honor.

Smith resigned from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences after it launched a formal review into the incident. He also received a decade-long ban from the Oscars and any Academy events. Neither representatives for Rock nor Bell responded to the Daily News’ request for comment.
