Marumo Gallants striker Ranga Chivaviro has rejected an approach from Libyan club Al Akhdar as he continues to bide his time over his next move.
The 30-year-old has received approaches from Richards Bay, Sekhukhune United, Young Africans, Future FC and the Libyan club whom he faced off against in the group stages of the CAF Confederation Cup competition.
iDiski Times has it on good authority that they proposed a $150,000 total package for a one-year deal with an option to extend for a further season.
But the towering striker, who netted 17 goals across all competitions for the recently relegated Gallants has rejected their advances as he looks for the next move of his career.
Gallants Chairman recently stated that they activated a one-year option, meaning the player won’t be available on a free transfer, but the condition was set as a mutual agreement, which the player is not keen on activating after dropping down to the second tier.
With the 2023/24 pre-season about a month away, the player and his camp are said to be in no rush to make the next step with the likes of Kaizer Chiefs also reported to be interested in his services of late.
