Chippa United have confirmed the signing of attacking midfielder Menzi Ndwandwe from All Stars.

Ndwandwe becomes the third acquisition for the Chilli Boys ahead of the 2023/24 PSL season.

During the week, the Gqeberha side also announced the signings of former Orlando Pirates players Craig Martin and Augustine Mulenga.

“A warm welcome and a happy birthday to our new signing Menzi Ndwandwe,” read the club’s statement.

The ex-Bloemfontein Celtic man revealed that he is happy to have joined Chippa ahead of the new campaign and can’t wait to hit the ground running.

“I’m so excited to join Chippa and I’m looking forward to contributing as much as possible,” said Ndwandwe.

“I can’t wait for the league to start.”

The Morgan Mammila-coached outfit eagerly anticipate Ndwandwe’s impact on the field of play and is optimistic that the player will add the much-needed value to Chippa’s squad

Ndwandwe also turned out for clubs such as KZN Academy, AmaZulu, Uthongathi, and TS Galaxy.

The player played an important role in helping All Stars finish fourth in the Motsepe Foundation Championship with 48 points last season.

However, in a turn of events, All Stars decided to sell their second-tier status to Black Leopards.

This comes after Lidoda Duvha finished bottom of the log standings last campaign and were subsequently relegated to the SAFA ABC Motsepe League.

The club will be based in Limpopo, Polokwane, and play their home games at Thohoyandou Stadium.

Leopards made the official announcement of their return to the PSL a week ago in a press briefing held at the Meropa Casino in Polokwane.

With the new campaign fast approaching, the side will be hoping to achieve its ultimate goal of gaining automatic promotion to the DStv Premiership.
