DStv Premiership side Chippa United have secured the signing of former All-Stars striker Menzi Ndwandwe.
The towering striker was instrumental for All Stars in the second tier last season and helped the side to finish fourth, eight points behind third-placed Casric Stars.
His height and strength saw him excel in a target man role and Chippa head coach Morgan Mammila saw a glimpse of the 25-year-old during his small stint at All-Stars.
His 11 goals in 25 games, 15 of which were starts, naturally attracted plenty of suitors but his publication has learnt that Ndwandwe has been with Chilli Boys since day one of the pre-season which was a week ago.
They are expected to announce as a replacement for Etiosa Ighodaro since he returned to his parent club Mamelodi Sundowns.
