Kaizer Chiefs and Stellenbosch will be without their influential midfielders when they face off in an enticing DStv Premiership clash at FNB Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
Chiefs are currently on a four-match winning streak in all competitions, the first time achieved under head coach Arthur Zwane in his debut season.
Meanwhile, Stellies have won six of their last seven games, with the other being a 1-1 draw against Mamelodi Sundowns at Danie Craven.
Key to their form has been the return of Iqraam Rayners, who’s directly contributed to 11 goals in six games (9 goals, 2 assists) and while he’ll be available, Sibongiseni Mthethwa who has played all 23 league games this season is suspended.
Zwane will also have to make do without Yusuf Maart for the game that kicks off at 17h30, with Samkelo Zwane likely to fill in his role for the upcoming clash.
Out of sorts, AmaZulu has Keagan Buchanan suspended, however, it appears he’s fallen out of favour under Romain Folz, who is keen to part ways with the midfielder.
Richards Bay, who have been sliding down the table are still missing Salim Magoola who received a straight red in their 1-0 loss to Chiefs earlier this month.
And Sekhukhune United, who are chasing a spot in the top-eight will be missing their South Africa international forward Victor Letsoalo.
