Royal AM CEO Sinky Mnisi says a story is set to unfold regarding Kaizer Chiefs’ latest signing Dillan Solomons.
Solomons, 23, was unveiled on a four-year deal at Chiefs on Monday evening after joining from Swallows FC.
The speedy winger who was converted into a right-back at the Dube Birds this season under head coach Dylan Kerr was one of their standout players which naturally attracted several suitors.
His representative confirmed to iDiski Times that five clubs approached Swallows over his services but eventually Amakhosi won the race, something Mnisi is seemingly contesting.
“I think before I even… I think there will be a story unfolding let me just put it like that for now in terms of that particular signing but I will leave it to the powers that may be for now,” he told Andile Ncube on Sports Night Amplified on Tuesday evening.
“But watch this space, that’s all I can say. Obviously, Royal AM will be part of this story but let’s wait until it unfolds then you will remember what I said today.
“The announcement may have been made but everything has due processes but believe me, there’s a story that will unfold on that particular player.”
Solomons scored four goals and registered three assists in 29 games across all competitions for the Soweto-based outfit in the 2021/22 campaign.
