Kaizer Chiefs coach Arthur Zwane has praised two of his new Amakhosi signings, saying Ashley Du Preez as “one of the best players he’s ever seen”.
Zwane was present at the DStv Premiership launch on SuperSport TV ahead of the 2022/23 and was full praise for the club’s new Nr. 9.
‘10111’ was asked about his new signings from Stellenbosch FC, Du Preez and Zitha Kwinika, saying both have settled in well.
“The boys are settling very well,”
“I must give credit to coach Steve and the entire technical team at Stellenbosch. I think they’ve done very well to develop Ashley.
“He’s one of the best players that I’ve ever seen. Very explosive and very good technically.”
Zwane also hailed Du Preez’s former Stellies teammate Kwinika, who he knows since working with him at youth levels.
“Obviously when it comes to Kwinika Zitha, he worked with us I think in 2011 before he was promoted to the first team. He was with me in the U17, then promoted to U19s and reserves,” he added.
“When it comes to Zitha, he is a boy that I know very well. He’s a boy from eKasi, he’s talented and got leadership skills as well.”
