Bonang in the process of replacing Thuso Mbedu

Bonang Matheba will reportedly replace Thuso Mbedu as the brand ambassador for L’Oréal.

In 2023, Thuso made history with the brand as she was announced as the first Black brand ambassador for sub-Saharan Africa.

According to Zimoja, a source revealed that the media personality and her team pitched to the international brand, and they are processing to sign a deal with her.

“She knows her story. She gave a very impressive pitch. She will be starting to shoot for the brand over the next coming weekend and has been travelling with them.” adds the source.

“They are introducing Bonang as a digital ambassador and I am not sure what will happen with Thuso as her contract has not ended.”

Meanwhile, the relationship between the two South African women is natural, as they don’t have a cordial relationship, nor are they enemies, hence it is expected that Thuso’s replacement won’t stir up trouble.
