Njabulo Blom and Bradley Carnell have continued their perfect start in the Major League Soccer after collecting their second win of their inaugural season.

Just like last week when they came back from being 2-1 down to beat Austin FC 3-2, St Louis City came from a goal behind to collect their first ever home victory against Charlotte SC.

The visitors had scored the opener via Enzo Copetti in the 25th minute, but an own goal by Bill Tuiloma drew levels matter in the 41st minute.

St Louis even managed to turn the game around before the break, with Eduard Loewen converting a penalty.

Joao Klauss made it 3-1 in the 71st minute, securing the newly formed side’s first ever MLS home win at a sold-out City Park.

Blom, who had come off the bench after just 17 minutes in the win over Austin, started his first MLS game and was one of the standout performers in his side, receiving a 7.3 rating by Sofascore – only bettered with 7.6 by goalscorer Loewen.

St Louis are one of four MLS side that started the new campaign with two wins from two matches.

Next week, they’ll face Portland Timbers, who picked up one win and one defeat so far.
