On Monday, 10 July, pastor and gospel musician Benjamin Dube took to Twitter and posted a video showing snow in his front yard, however, after his social media followers viewed the clip, they voiced that he had ulterior motives for posting the clip.
‘THIS WASN’T ABOUT THE SNOW’: TWEEPS REACT TO BENJAMIN DUBE’S POST
Benjamin Dube rubbed some of his Twitter followers the wrong way after he posted a video showing off two of his cars parked in his garage. In the video, the 61-year-old gospel singer started by showing his social media followers snow falling in his yard, however, it quickly became evident that the video focussed more about the two high-end vehicles parked in his garage.
The clip has been viewed over five million times. And, Tweeps have since left Dube numerous comments whereby they called him out for boasting about his possessions.

Besides being a pastor and gospel artist, Dube plays his role in the community. He founded High Praise Center, a non-profit organisation, located in Boksburg, Johannesburg, Briefly reported. It was founded in 1994 and already has over 2 000 members who assist him with helping men, women, and children to address their spiritual needs.

“Imagine the so-called ‘man of God’ showing off expensive cars to the hungry congregants. We are so blind, we follow comedians and give them responsibilities. So disgusting,” @MasweleRalebona commented.

“And the cars became part of the snow,” @Modipadi_W said.
“Pastor 3 some is a vanity addict. The other day, he bragged about paying tuition for some students. The Bible says giving should be done in secret. Now, he found a way to vainly display his cars. One of 7 deadly sins is vanity,” @KeithTopG responded.
