Banyana duo makes it into WAFCON group stage best XI | African News

Banyana Banyana goalkeeper Andile Dlamini and midfielder Refiloe Jane have made it into the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) group stage best XI.

CAF has announced the best XI following the conclusion of the group stage matches for the continental women’s football showpiece which is in motion in Moroccan cities of Rabat and Casablanca.

Defender Lushombo Mweemba and midfielder Grace Chanda have made it from Zambia.

Nigeria’s best players named in the best XI are centre-back Osinachi Ohale and striker Rasheedat Ajibade.

Morocco have also earned recognition through defender Zineb Redouan and midfielder Ghizlane.

Botswana, Cameroon and Tunisia have contributed one player each to the theoretical 4-4-2 line-up.

CAF Technical Study Group rated the players based on their individual brilliance and contribution to their respective teams.
