Sekhukhune United have completed the signing of highly-rated defender Ryan Baartman.
The 25-year-old joined All Stars FC at the beginning of 2020/21 season from Cape Umoya United.
Baartman has been identified as one of the best defenders in the Motsepe Foundation Championship with consistent displays over the last few seasons.
He was linked with Kaizer Chiefs at the beginning of 2021/22 season but nothing materialised for the former Cape Town City DStv Diski Challenge player.
iDiski Times can confirm, Baartman signed a three-year contract with Babina Noko as they look to strengthen their defence after conceding nine goals in four matches.
He becomes the eighth player from All Stars to make a move to the DStv Premiership alongside the likes of Justice Figuareido, Lehlohonolo Mtshali, Boikanyo Komane, Siphelo Baloni, while four others were snapped up by Chippa United head coach Morgan Mammila.
Baartman will be competing with experienced Daniel Cardoso, Edwin Gymah and Tshepo Rikhotso, Lesego Sebetlela and Tresor Yamba in the centre-back position which gives Brandon Truter plenty of options.
