Artist Tumi Tladi dies at the age of 30

The family of hip-hop artist and choreographer Tumi Tladi confirms the untimely passing of their son.

They revealed Tumi, 30, passed away in Johannesburg on Sunday morning.

“Known by his stage name Tumi Tladi, he was deeply loved by his family, friends, and the entertainment industry as a whole,” the statement reads.

“Son, brother, and uncle, Tumi Tladi (30) sadly passed away in the early hours of this morning (10th July 2022) in Johannesburg. He leaves behind his parents, five siblings, his niece, and nephews.”

The Tladi family asked for privacy during the period of grieving and requested that fans keep them in their prayers.

The family is yet to announce the cause of his death and details of the funeral will be confirmed at a later stage.
