With the ABC Motsepe League closely reaching its fever pitch, two teams have secured the South African football third-tier provincial playoffs.
Goals, drama and fans’ abundant roars and rumbles are what the amateur league has delivered during the weekend fixtures.
And teams continue to show their desire to finish top and qualify for the provincial and national playoffs promotion to the Motsepe Foundation Championship.
over the weekend, we witnessed Amavarara and Peace Makers qualify for the Eastern Cape ABC Motsepe playoffs after winning their respective streams.
Amavarara were officially declared the Eastern Cape Stream A winners, whereas Peace Makers won Stream B.
The playoff encounter between the two teams will decide who will represent the Eastern Cape in the national playoffs.
Amavarara are top of Stream A with 31 points and still have a game in hand.
Meanwhile, Peace Makers finished the campaign on the summit of Stream B with 31 points after 16 games.
With that being said, Champion FC and Jacaranda were relegated from Stream A and B respectively.
In the North West province, the game between NWU Tawana and Som United did not take place, as Som did not show up.
