Former Stellenbosch FC defender Alan Robertson has successfully joined a new club just days after terminating his contract with the DStv Premiership side.
The 28-year-old defender was unveiled by United City Football Club in the Philippines on Wednesday. This comes after Robertson parted ways with Stellies just days ago.
“Welcome to our new star defender Robertson,” the club said on their social media platforms.
“Alan Robertson aka JJ is a 6’2 Center back from South Africa who began his football career at Barnet FC (2012-2013) before joining the University of Pretoria FC (Amatuks) from 2013 to 2015 and the Amazulu FC under South African National First Division (NFD) until 2017.
“Alan is an accomplished starter for Stellenbosch FC for which he has featured 97 times in the South African Premier Division. Welcome to UCFC, JJ”
