Daniel Msendami’s agent Tshepo More of More Football Agency has issued an update on his player linked with a move to the DStv Premiership.
Msendami is currently in the books Botswana Premier League champions Jwaneng Galaxy.
The Zimbabwean youngster moved to Galaxy in August 2022 on a loan deal from Zimbabwean giants Highlanders FC after his promotion to the senior team in July 2022.
Galaxy has an option to make Msendami’s move permanent.
The 22-year-old played a big role in the team’s success this season. He played 25 matches in all competitions, scored nine goals and provided 13 assists.
The striker was part of the squad that clinched the league on Wednesday after beating Holy Ghost 2-0.
UPDATE ON DSTV PREMIERSHIP LINKED YOUNGSTER
According to the player’s agent there are DStv Premiership teams that have shown interest in the 20-year-old’s services.
“[I can confirm] there are DStv Premiership teams that have contacted us and are interested in signing him,” More told FARPost.
“For now, I cannot disclose the teams as talks are still ongoing and no agreement has be reached with anyone.
“He still has a contract with Jwaneng. But he’s open and willing to a move to the South African topflight. Jwaneng is aware of the situation, they are willing to let him go if he finds a better deal.
“The boy is looking for greener pastures, he’s looking forward to playing at a league that is more competitive. That will help him grow as a player.”
DANIEL MSENDAMI’S DREAM
Asked about the youngster’s dream, the agent revealed that his client dreams of playing abroad one day.
“He has the potential to be a successful footballer and he’s talented. His dream is to go as far as abroad one day,” he added.
